Caring for Your Treasures

Jewellery
Please note that all handmade jewellery pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. Remember to avoid contact with water and remove your pieces when swimming, washing, being sport active or taking a shower.

Clean pieces which are solely made from silver using a silver polishing cloth or in severe cases silver jewellery cleaning solution.

Pieces with gemstones are more fragile and can be damaged by solutions, clean those gently using warm soapy water and lint free cloth and pat dry immediately. Silver parts can be polished using a silver jewellery polishing cloth

Usually sent with Royal Mail on a 48hr service. Your order should arrive within 2 days after dispatch but this is not guaranteed.

Usually sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 Service. Your order should arrive the day after dispatch but this is not guaranteed.

Jewellery Warranty
​
All Pentland Treasures Jewellery comes with a 6 month warranty for peace of mind; during this period, we will repair or replace any piece of jewellery showing manufacturing defects at no cost to you.
Kindly note that our warranty does not cover wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect storage/usage, or accidents that result in scratches or damaged settings.
Fair wear and tear is not a fault and you have no right to return, refund or exchange if a problem arises because of failure to follow any care instructions you were given on purchase as this will fall under misuse.

Healing Gem Stones/Crystals
​
Gem Stones and crystals are an increasingly popular tool in healing and self care. Many people use gemstones to balance energies and to become more attuned with their body and mind.
Crystals have been used for thousands of years for their healing, magical and spiritual powers.
Although there is no definitive scientific evidence to show that crystals in themselves heal, more people are open to working with crystals and gems stones to bring balance, relaxation and healing.
Our jewellery is designed to be wearable and beautiful. We will also often share the possible benefits of the gems used in our jewellery so that anyone who is interested in this use can select a piece that would suit them. Ultimately it is up to you whether you use gem jewellery as a beautiful adornment with or without healing and balancing benefits.
Please note we never suggest using crystals/gems in place of prescribed medicine or treatments. and, we have no liability for gemstones not providing possible health benefits.
Handmade Treasures
Pentland Treasures Jewellery pieces are made by hand not machine, using 925 silver and natural gemstones. Small variations and imperfections in shape, size and colour may occur due to the nature of each gemstone and handmade techniques .
This is a part of the charm of a handmade product and what makes each piece unique and one of a kind. These small variations will never affect the overall aesthetic or quality of the jewellery pieces.

Exchanges
​
We’re confident that you will love your Pentland Treasures,
however, if you find that an item you have ordered is unsuitable, or in the rare event that we have sent you the wrong item, you can contact us via email for an exchange.

Due to health and safety reasons, we do not accept exchanges on earrings.

Contact us via email, within 7 days, to request an exchange

Items should be returned within 14 days for an exchange.​

As a small business we are unable to cover the return postage of items returned for an exchange.

Items must be returned in their original packaging, unworn and in the same condition as when they were sent out.

We recommend using tracked delivery as we cannot be liable for a refund of the original purchase if an exchange does not arrive.

Tracking number/reference should be emailed to us once item has been posted.

Items should be carefully packaged in padded letterbox friendly envelopes as we will not be liable for any damage that occurs in the post.

We aim to post the new item you have exchanged for within 5 working days.

Returns & Refunds

No refund of item cost or of delivery fees will be available for late deliveries.

In the rare event of an item being faulty you can contact us via email for an exchange or refund.

Kindly note that a fault does not cover wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect storage, or accidents that result in scratches or damaged settings.

For a refund of a faulty item please email within 5 days giving reason and providing a photo of any fault.

Items that are faulty should be returned within 14 days for a refund.​

We keep a secure database of your contact details, so we can contact you quickly if there is a query on your order.
